Language Support: BriefCam now supports the following languages: Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish (Latin American), Turkish, Vietnamese.

BriefCam’s HTTP REST Generic Integration Supports Live Video Stream: We have added a new API call that enables a third party to use BriefCam’s RESPOND module and generate real-time events and notifications of objects matching certain filter criteria.

Visual Layers: We have added the ability to provide users with visibility into statistical visual analysis of object activity and dwell areas and popular event paths in a synopsis (Activity Heat Map, Dwell Heat Map, Common Paths)

Show Timestamps during Synopsis Playback: Timestamps are displayed continuously while the synopsis is played. The timestamp toggle can be used to turn the timestamp display on or off (the default is on),

Improve Path Filter: We have improved the path filter accuracy. The path filter detects objects traveling along one or more user-defined paths, as well as objects whose lower part (legs, wheels) is traveling along the path.

Duration in Path and Duration in Area: The user is now able to set the minimum duration the object spends inside an area or on a drawn path.

Show Original File Name: The original file name is now displayed when playing an object’s close-up clip. It indicates the original file name for reference, even in a multi-file same-camera synopsis.

Density Control: Density control is now available when playing a synopsis. Density refers to the number of events shown concurrently when playing a synopsis. Use the density control to increase or decrease the number of events shown at once. Changing event density will alter the run time of the video synopsis. The density setting is not persistent.

Object Thumbnail’s Sorting by Chronology: Sorting by time (oldest to newest and vice versa) when filters are applied is now available. This control allows users to see objects from oldest to newest or from newest to oldest even on filtered mode.

User Settings: We have added a user settings menu, that enables the user to change the time, date, size and speed formats. The user settings are specific and persistent to each respective user and applied to all modules.

New Research module provides statistical presentation reports (heat maps, graphs, counters) extracted from video footage and consequently delivers valuable business insights. An automated email with a link to open the report is generated based on user pre-defined schedule.
