The new engine, which runs on Linux, offers faster and improved smart alerts that have up to 5 second trigger time (compared to 60 seconds in the OX5 engine) using all available filters including four types of Count filters, up to 2x throughput resulting in reduced number of GPUs needed (depending on available resources on existing hardware), and better detections and counting resulting in better accuracy.

If there are several unsuccessful attempts made to log into BriefCam, the administrator can now configure BriefCam to lock out the user. This is done using the EnableUserLockout environment setting, which by default is set to false. The number of permitted login attempts is set to 5 and can be changed using the LoginAttemptsBeforeUserLockout environment setting.
