Chief Marketing Officer

The Chief Marketing Officer at BriefCam blends marketing strategy with demonstrated leadership and high-quality execution to help elevate the demand for BriefCam at a global scale and support the strategic vision of a high-growth enterprise software company. As a key member of the executive leadership team, this person will report directly to the CEO and is responsible for the Company’s core marketing and communications strategy with a focus on further strengthening the company’s awareness, brand perception, and reputation to drive revenue growth. This role will drive the vision, strategy, and execution for all elements of an integrated end-to-end marketing function, including demand and lead generation, brand awareness and differentiation, product and solution marketing, content and thought leadership, integrated campaigns, digital marketing, events, public relations and strategic communications, and analyst relations.


What you’ll do at BriefCam:

 ·      Own the strategic thinking and vision for the marketing organization

·      Collaborate with the senior leadership team to define and execute go-to-market strategies and supporting tactics

·      Partner with other C-suite executives to achieve the company’s vision

·      Plan, execute, measure results, and drive improvement both real-time and on a continuing basis

·      Oversee data-driven marketing analytics focused on lead and demand generation, customer acquisition, and scalable marketing ROI

·      Translate technical product features and capabilities into business value for varying stakeholders (internal, external + customers/partners/end users)

·      Drive strategy for industry and media exposure including press releases, analyst relations, award submissions, and speaking engagements

·      Strengthen and evolve the company’s positioning as a leader in comprehensive video analytics solutions

·      Develop and manage comprehensive omni-channel marketing plans/budgets to meet revenue and brand goals

·      Develop industry and domain expertise as a trusted advisor, subject matter expert and company spokesperson

·      Own and scale the marketing budget, allocating spend and optimizing a blend of channels to hit growth targets


What you’ve done before:

 ·      Minimum 10 years experience in marketing or related field within a B2B software tech environment with a focus on leading a marketing organization, with a minimum of four years experience in a VP or CMO role with global responsibility

·      Proven experience in developing and managing a pipeline commitment

·      Experience leading, scaling, and mentoring a high-performing marketing function and team

·      Proven success in a highly entrepreneurial and dynamic environment while helping to instill process and drive scalability

·      Proven experience working within a high-growth start-up and/or dynamic environment

·      Excellent writing and communications skills

·      Highly organized and able to multi-task and effectively lead and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing quality, accuracy, or efficiency

·      Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, advertising, or related field

·      Experience taking a well-known brand in a noisy market to its next level of growth

·      Experience overseeing a fully integrated technology stack, including but not limited to best-in-class tools such as, Hubspot/Marketo/Pardot, buyer intent solutions, web analytics solutions etc.


What would be nice if you also:

·      Worked for or closely with Israeli-founded organizations

·      Worked with a geographically distributed leadership team and managed geographically dispersed direct reports

·      Familiarity with the Video Surveillance industry and or solutions in the space

·      Experience leading or influencing sales operations
