Prof. Shmuel Peleg, the developer of Video Synopsis technology, is the company's co-founder and Chief Scientist. Peleg, a faculty member and former chair of the School of Computer Science, Hebrew University, is a world-renowned expert in computer vision and has published over 150 technical papers. Peleg's OmniStereo technology, developed to create three-dimensional photographs, was awarded a prestigious Kaye Innovation Award in 2002. Peleg holds 12 issued US patents that have provided the technical foundations to four companies: VideoBrush (USA), Emaki (Japan), HumanEyes (Israel), and BriefCam (Israel).

Shai Avnit - Chief Financial Officer

Shai Avnit is a provider of outsourcing financial management services. Prior to joining BriefCam, Avnit was VP Finance and CFO, Valor Computerized Systems, where he managed the company's cash flow following an IPO that raised $40 million. Before that, he was Chief Accountant and Treasurer of Card Guard Scientific Survival, where he was involved in raising $150 million in several private funding initiatives and public offerings, and also established and supervised the subsidiaries' accounting departments in the USA, Brazil, Japan and Holland according to US GAAP. Avnit is a registered Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel (ICPAI).
